What were you doing before the MCL?
I obtained my undergraduate law degree in 2016 and worked in a finance firm in Singapore for a year.
What were your impressions of the MCL?
The MCL provides an excellent foundation for students looking to practise commercial law. Students get to explore in detail the key aspects of commercial transactions through the Deals course. The course is also well-structured as the various electives complement one another. There are ample opportunities throughout the course for students to speak to leading legal practitioners and learn from their experiences.
What are your post-MCL plans and have they changed due to taking the MCL?
I will be commencing my legal training contract with Linklaters in London.
