Dr Jan-Willem Koldehofe Awarded HSF bursary

The MCL Academic Team is delighted to announce that the recipient of the Herbert Smith Freehills bursary for 2023-24 is Dr Jan-Willem Koldehofe. The bursary covers half of the MCL tuition fees, or £20,000.

Dr Koldehofe studied at the Universities of Hamburg and Münster. He also received a doctorate degree (Dr. iur.) at the University of Münster with a thesis on the European insider trading regulation. Before coming to Cambridge to take the MCL, Dr Koldehofe worked as an associate at the Hamburg office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the Corporate/Capital Markets Law department.

Due to the continuing and substantial generosity of Herbert Smith Freehills, the bursary will be on offer for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 admissions rounds.
