The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce the creation of the MCL Travers Smith Bursary, which will be available for the 2019-20 MCL applications round. The bursary will be worth £6,000, and will be awarded to an MCL student with an outstanding past academic record who is not the recipient of any other bursary, scholarship or studentship.
In awarding the bursary preference will be given to candidates who have indicated, at the time of their application to the MCL course, that they are not able to meet the full funding requirements of the course from private sources. In addition to the financial award, the recipient of the bursary will also be invited to spend two weeks at Travers Smith’s London offices on a programme of tailored work experience following completion of their MCL studies.
