The MCL Academic Team are delighted to announce that Richard Hooley of the Cambridge Law Faculty, and Philip Wood, CBE, QC (Hon), Special Global Counsel at Allen & Overy LLP, will restart their popular LLM course on International Financial Law in October 2017.
IFL previously ran from 2001-2008 as part of the LLM, but this time around both LLM and MCL students will have the option of taking the paper. The course aims to provide students with a sound grasp of the law and practice of modern international finance. The focus will be on English law and practice, although some themes and issues will be examined in an international and comparative context where appropriate.
