The MCL Academic Team are delighted to announce that Mark Smith will be joining the programme in the 2018-19 academic year, as co-instructor for the Law Firm as a Business module alongside Tim Bellis.
Mark spent ten years as a technology and outsourcing lawyer (working in private practice and in-house) before completing an MBA and moving into a commercial strategy role. In the last decade he led a legal process outsourcing business before joining a FTSE 100 information and technology provider where he works with large law firms as the Market Development Director. Alongside this work he provides consultancy and executive coaching services to law firm leaders and is a member of faculty at Judge Business School where he designs and delivers executive education for professional services firms. Mark also holds an MSc in behavioural change and is the co-author of the ABA publication The Relevant Lawyer.
