Herbert Smith Freehills African-Asian Bursary 2016-17 awarded to Nauriin Ahmed

The Law Faculty is delighted to announce that Ms. Nauriin Ahmed from Bangladesh will be the recipient of the 2016-17 Herbert Smith Freehills African-Asian Bursary, a scheme established to support African and Asian students wishing to study the Masters in Corporate Law at the University of Cambridge.

Ms. Ahmed was awarded the Herbert Smith Freehills African Bursary following her academic achievement at BRAC University, Bangladesh, and will be commencing her studies at the University of Cambridge in October 2016.

Herbert Smith Freehills is a leading international law firm and long-term supporter of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge, as well as a member of the Faculty of Law Practitioner Development Advisory Board.

In congratulating Ms. Ahmed on her success, Professor Brian Cheffins and Mr Richard Hooley (Co-directors of the MCL) said:
